The Eugenics Movement and Standardized Testing

This lesson plan was created by Tenzin Mary Youdon, a senior at Engineering and Science University Magnet School, in New Haven, CT. The lesson plan is about the inherent racism of standardized tests and the eugenic origins of these standardized tests. The lesson plan also involves an interactive portion, where students are asked to answer questions from a voting literacy test, bringing light upon the connections between eugenics, standardized testing, and anti-immigrant sentiments.
